Embora toda a estrutura da linha f\u00e9rrea tenha sido retirada em 1974, os dois pontilh\u00f5es permanecem como guardi\u00f5es da paisagem. O Pontilh\u00e3o da Cidade foi pavimentado com concreto armado. O Pontilh\u00e3o da Lavrinha permaneceu sem utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o por muitos anos, depois este foi pavimentado com madeiramento para servir a paisagem. Ambos s\u00e3o de estrutura triangular de ferro fundido, assentados sobre estruturas de pedras.
